ATDF Achieves Certification to the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standard

Austin, TX (3 December 2007) – ATDF, the R&D foundry for the global semiconductor industry, has received ISO9001:2000 certification to the standards prescribed by the ANSI-American Society of Quality National Accreditation Board.

This ISO certification is granted to organizations that achieve compliance with a rigorous set of business process and manufacturing standards designed to ensure that products and services meet product quality requirements, with a focus on customer satisfaction.  ATDF’s certification, achieved for its test wafer products and custom development services, was granted following an extensive third-party audit of its business, manufacturing and quality processes.

The auditors noted that ATDF compared very well to other organizations receiving first‑time ISO 9001:2000 certification.  The audit team cited several noteworthy quality initiatives, and lauded ATDF employees for “extensive knowledge of company business processes.”

This is a significant milestone for ATDF as we continue down the path of customer‑focused continuous improvement,” said Dave Anderson, ATDF general manager. “Acquiring the ISO9001:2000 certification is a reflection of our commitment to meet and exceed the product quality expectations of our customers. Through investment in employee development, business support, manufacturing and quality management systems, validated through the achievement of the ISO certification, ATDF is proud to enable the success of our customers.”
